Yesterday Mr Cameron spoke in central London regarding export growth and warned how the debt crisis in Italy and Greece economic issues could seriously affect our UK economy. The PM said "It is not in our interest for the eurozone to break up, for countries to leave the eurozone - that obviously affects our banks, it affects our neighbours' banks, transmission mechanisms that would go right across Europe, that would damage our economy."

Today saw major Eurozone events including Lucas Papademos sworn in as the new prime minister of Greece, Italy agreed austerity measures of spending cuts and tax rises. The stock markets responded favourably to the days events, with the Euro also showing a gain against the Pound Sterling (GBP EUR), a fall of 0.28%.
